The AC power from the solar array powers the load during the day for 6-9 hours or up to 24 hours if needed. During the daytime, when diesel generators are stopped, the GRID247 system takes over, forming the grid with its own voltage and frequency, using a battery bank as the energy source.The inverter quickly adjusts to voltage changes, mimicking a synchronous generator. It offers fast voltage control and can switch to charging mode to absorb excess power, preventing instability.
The batteries help manage transitions when diesel generators start and stop, and during low solar output, extending the generators' lifespan.

Recently, Agile Europe, in collaboration with our local partner, commissioned an installation for a leading exploration and production company in the country. This project aimed to integrate a solar PV system with existing diesel generators for three oil wells.
Agile Europe installed a microgrid system containing a battery bank to utilize solar power during the daytime and manage the system at the highest possible efficiency, seamlessly transferring between all power sources.
